The interior isnít the usual Indian
chaos. Sleek and contemporary
decor spreads over four levels,
giving the feeling of intimate dining
while still catering well to its long
list of fans. Given the flexible lay-out
of the restaurant, it also caters
well to functions without disrupting

the menu includes the usual
comfort food including tasty
vegetarian options and of special
note is the slow-cooked goat
cooked on the bone. The compact
dessert menu includes some
innovative variations including
their famous Ras Malai (poached
cheese cake served in a saffron
sauce). The banquet menus are
ideal for groups of over four people
and are specific to the regions of
Punjab, Delhi and Bombay.

The friendly staff extend their Indian
hospitality with their warm and
efficient service, although expect a
leisurely wait on busy nights.

A quirky touch is the dining room
decoration of fashion and jewellery
from the fashion label Rush Me,
located upstairs on the third floor
and on weekends the bar room
becomes an outlet. Maya won
the best Indian Restaurant in WA
in the Restaurant and Caterers
Awards for Excellence 2009 and
was nominated in the Top 10
Perth restaurants in the Gourmet
Traveller 2010 Restaurant Awards.
